The most common bird in Manila, besides the Eurasian Tree Sparrow, was the Yellow-vented Bulbul. It kind of reminded me of a Mockingbird, being fairly conspicuous. It belongs to the Pycnonotidae family. In the top picture, you can see his yellow vent.
