O'Hara/Hunt Reunion 2014

I am a little behind in posting some pics from this summer.  Here are some from the annual O'Hara Reunion.  This year we also had a little memorial service to remember Ben's grandpa and grandma.  We had a great turnout from the Hunt side to celebrate Ben's grandparents.  It was fun to catch up with family that we don't get to see very often.

O'Hara Family Reunion

Last Sunday, we were in La Porte County for the annual O'Hara Family Reunion. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and the food was great too!

Santos Family Reunion

The main event during our trip to the Philippines was the family reunion. There was a representative from each of the eight siblings in my dad's family. As you can imagine, there were tons and tons of family pictures. Here are just a few...

O'Hara Family Reunion 2007

Yesterday, the family went to the annual O'Hara Reunion. We had beautiful weather and it was nice to visit with all the relatives. The attendance for the reunion was low, but most of the Hunts showed up. Even Uncle Ken from Alaska was able to attend. Another highlight was finally understanding how we are related to an O'Hara (Grandpa's grandmother was one of the many O'Hara children of William O'Hara).

Today, the family went up to Niles, Michigan for the annual family reunion. It was a great time and beautiful weather.

Family Reunion in Chicago

Last weekend, Ben and I went to Chicago to see some of my dad's relatives. He had 5 of his 7 siblings in one place, which doesn't happen very often. My dad's oldest sister, Gloria and his first cousin Aurora were visiting from the Philippines. It was fun to see everyone, even though our stay was very short. I will try to name everyone in the pictures below, but I can't promise that spelling will be correct!

Hunt/O'Hara Family Reunion

This weekend we attended the 83rd O'Hara family reunion in La Porte, Indiana. Regan and Joy played horseshoes and both got a ringer. Home-made ice cream is always a highlight. After the reunion, all the Hunts headed over to the family farm. Joy, Regan, and I took the traditional walk to the swimming hole at the creek.
