Laney's First Bath

A few weeks ago, we gave Laney her first bath since we adopted her.  We weren't sure if she would enjoy it or not, since she seems to enjoy water on her own terms.  All in all, the event went smoothly, although she did not willing want to participate in the bath, she behaved pretty well and managed to endure it.  Since she adores Ben and wants to follow him where ever he goes, we decided it would help her experience if he was in the tub with her.  

 We tried to coax her into the tub with treats, but she wasn't interested.  We eventually had to lift her into the water.

 I love this picture.  Ben looks so happy, but Laney is not so sure this "bath thing" is a good idea.
