Black-and-White Warbler
It seemed like these guys were in every tree on every ridge top during our hike at the Red River Gorge last weekend.
We had been hearing them all day (listen to the song courtesy of Cornell's Lab of Ornithology), but I hadn't been able to spot one.
Near the end of the day, on top of Double Arch, I found one singing in the open on top of a short pine tree. I climbed up a rock so that I could look down on singer and avoid a back-lit photo.
