Rough Green Snake

This Green Snake was basking in some willows in a wetland in Brown County, Indiana. I didn't get to closely examine the scales, but I assume that this was a Rough Green Snake (Opheodrys aestivus) based on range.

So are they not concerned with being seen? The colors are so contrasting...

Normally they blend right in and you never see them.
