European Starlings
I enjoy watching Starlings like I enjoy the smell of Japanese Honeysuckle. Well, maybe not that much. I know they don't belong here and cause many problems, but I am sure they are here for as long as we are. They do have classy markings in the winter and seem to be so full of life. They sometimes come in large flocks to my feeder, but usually they come singly or in pairs. When they are on the platform feeder, it is a toss-up whether they will boss a Blue Jay off the feeder. Unless they come in numbers. The Starlings also like the suet feeder and do a pretty good job hanging there.
