Boreal Chickadee

Boreal Chickadee and Black-capped Chickadee, Sac Zim Bog, Minnesota

Although I had seen Boreal Chickadees before, it was a real treat to see them up-close, coming to a feeder. Even the Gray Jay at the same feeder didn't hold my attention as well as these little guys.

Black-caps were ubiquitous, but this one wanted some love from the camera, landing almost an arm's length away.
