Uinta Chipmunk

This confiding little fellow climbed down a tree near me along the summit trail at Great Basin National Park. Page 54 of this great mammal guide to Great Basin describes the Uinta Chipmunk as having more dorsal stripes than the Cliff Chipmunk and fewer side stripes than the Least Chipmunk.
