Hayden Valley to Kepler Falls

Least Chipmunk eating the seeds out of flower.

Dragon's Mouth
We had to wait at the trailhead here for the Bison to move off the trail. I saw some Red Crossbills while I was waiting. They were doing something at a mudhole. I had wanted to see this feature since I remembered it as a boy. It was still very cool and easy to imagine a large dragon inside the cave.

A curious Red Squirrel. We enjoyed watching squirrels and chipmunks.

A Spiranthes orchid growing in a sedge meadow on the way to Natural Bridge.

Natural Bridge was a cool feature down a one mile trail. It made for a nice walk.

Kepler Falls was located just east of the Old Faithful area.
