Locked Rooms
Joy and I just finished Locked Rooms by Laurie R. King. This is the third book of the Mary Russell mystery series that I have read (although it is not the third book in the series). The book is set in San Francisco in the 1920's and deals with the events and aftermath of the great earthquake and fire of 1906. I enjoyed the book, and especially how King wove in the historical character of Dashiell Hammett, a real-life detective and author who worked for the Pinkerton Detective Agency and wrote the Maltese Falcon (the Maltese Falcon is another book I recently read and would recommend).
