The Hornet's Nest: A Novel of the Revolutionary War

I just finished the first work of fiction by a President of the United States. The Hornet's Nest, by Jimmy Carter, is a historical fiction novel. I like using historical fiction to better learn history. The action mainly takes place in Georgia and the Carolinas before and during the revolutionary war. Carter really emphasized the incredible struggle it was for independence. I enjoyed the book, and was excited as it came up to battles that I remembered (the ones the US won).
