Owl Prowl
Tonight we went to Marian College to go on an owl walk. The highlight was getting to see through a scope a female Great Horned Owl perching for a couple minutes. The moon was full and the night was beautiful. We walked through the woods, but didn't see another owl. Lots of beavers were out and they made large splashes with their tails. Then we came back inside and disected owl pellets. Ours had three rodents in it.

Technically, owls don't really poop. Pellets are their puke. :D Like a cat's hairball.
Sometimes you can find an entire skeleton in one pellet. That's so much fun!!
