Eagle Day

Saturday, Joy and I, along with the Wathen family, went to Eagle Day at Cayuga, IN. Cinergy opened up their powerplant for the public to come and see Bald Eagles wintering along the Wabash River. They had a live-bird program with several bird of prey species. We saw a couple eagles at Cayuga, but our best view of an eagle came at Shades State Park. Two adult Bald Eagles were perched high above the Sugar Creek along SR234.
