Tettegouche State Park

Wednesday we went to Tettegouche State Park.  Yet another state park with amazing waterfalls and a gorgeous coastline.  Above is the top half of Two Step Falls.

Further upstream was High Falls.  This is looking straight down over the falls from the right bank.

The trail crossed the Baptism River on a suspension bridge just above High Falls.

Someone was trying to be brave, but the grating was sharp, and the bridge swayed.

Laney and I walked down to the bottom of the falls for a different view.

We all hiked to a lookout point to eat lunch.  There were ripe blueberries and moose pellets near the trail.
