Introducing Fez

When Mishka had her babies, she had two boys out of 12 babies. We were a little surprised that the boys were so out numbered, but we were glad that we at least had a pair, so they could keep each other company. We hoped that we might be able to find a good home for the boys, but alas, we couldn't, so we ended up keeping them too. I am glad we did, because it would have been hard to give up two sweet, pudgy boys. In the past, we have had both girl and boy rats (at separate times) so we were already aware of the differences in the genders. Now, having both genders side by side, their differences even more apparent. The boys are much more lazy and tend to sleep more. The girls are crazy hyper and much more active, but both genders are fun in their own way.

Fez is our black boy. He is the bigger of the two, and because of that, he is a little more dominant. But he is very subdued and not too bossy when it comes to his lone brother. He enjoys sleeping in his hammock and getting an occasional neck rub. He is not very adventurous, but does enjoy chasing my hand.

I am not positive this is Fez, but it sort of looks like him. For some reason, I don't have a baby pic that shows his belly. :(

Fez playing on the table.

Showing off his handsome belly markings.

Making a cute pose.

Snacking on some cheerios.

Look at how big he is now!
