Birthday Rats

Last Thursday, Oct 1, we celebrated the boys' birthday. It is hard to believe that they are only one year old, because they are so big! These are our first male rats, and we are continually amazed at how much bigger they are compared to the female rats we have had. We spoiled the boys with lots of yummy treats and I even picked out some colorful toys for them to play with. Below are some pictures of them playing with their toys.

After Boone and Smoky ran off with their toys, Scout stayed close by while playing. I like this picture because it looks like he is trying to decide whether to chew on the toy or befriend it.
