Dysart Woods

I visited Dysart Woods in Belmont County, Ohio on Friday. This is a nice example of an old-growth forest. The most showy flower blooming was Monotropa uniflora - Indianpipe.

Checking under some rocks, I found a couple salamanders. Quite pretty. Northern Redback Salamander (Lead-backed Phase) - Plethodon cinereus
