The Adventures of Ben and Kelly...

After we went to the wedding in Atlanta, we drove down to Shalimar, FL, to visit with our friends Kelly and Sarah. Kelly is a biologist, so he and Ben enjoy a lot of the same things. They had a lot of fun going birding and herping. Ben has posted a ton of pictures of what they found (check out his earlier posts). One of my favorite parts of the vacation was that I always had a choice to either tag along with the boys or to go to the beach (a short drive away) with Sarah. We both had a lot of fun and hope to visit them again sometime.

We found an injured loon on the beach. Ben and Kelly decided to carry it to safety. We were able to get a call a rescue volunteer to take care of it. Hopefully it will make it.

I wasn't able to get any pictures of the boys in their waders when they went out herping, but I did manage to get a picture of us eating some delicious fish tacos. Thanks Kelly and Sarah - for having us at your place. We had a blast!
