Pileated Woodpecker

I have had horrible luck photographing these gorgeous birds. Either they were too shy, too quick, too high up, or too backlit. I was just standing still in the conifer grove watching the crossbills, and this beautiful male (notice the red mustache, females have black) flew up ten feet away. They are breath-taking up close.
