Sand Ceremony
Since the wedding was outside, they couldn't do the traditional lighting of the unity candle. So they did a sand ceremony instead. The white sand represented Jesus, the foundation of their marriage. The light blue and dark blue sand represented Danielle and Jeff respectively. The pastor poured in the white sand, then each set of parents poured in part of the colored sand. Then Danielle and Jeff poured in the remaining sand together. I thought it was an interesting, but cool idea and it turned out really pretty. Here is the before shot.
This is what it looked like after the ceremony.
