Barred Owl at Mounds State Park
Today we went to Mounds State Park to enjoy a hike in the beautiful weather. The highlight was seeing a Barred Owl sleeping in a tree just off the trail. He was very cooperative in posing. You could tell he was still sleepy, but he was also carefully watching us. 
At first Joy couldn't find the owl, he blends in pretty well.
