INPAWS Dunes Trip

This weekend Joy and I joined Dr. and Mrs. Ruch and Dr. and Mrs. Torke for a botany field trip to the Dunes National Lakeshore. Many more people were planning on coming, but all but us cancelled. We had a good, but exhausting time. The three wives showed incredible patience putting up with three naturalists walking through the woods. I think many times we were averaging much less than one mile per hour on nature walks. On the plus side, we all learned a lot, and I even got to bird some. I'll post more pictures in the near future.
