Garter Snake eating a Toad

We got to see this spectacle during the hike at the Red River Gorge. The snake was between 2.5 and 3.0 feet long. It looked just about impossible for the snake to swallow the toad, but he did. He even had enough energy after swallowing to be feisty and chase Gordon around. (Gordon deserved it, he was poking him with a stick.)
