O Pioneers

I just finished O Pioneers by Willa Cather. It is very good book. Despite the title, only the first third of the book deals with "pioneer" times and the rest deals with relationships in settled Nebraska. It gives an insightful description of several personality types. Alexandra's brothers were portrayed so well you felt like you knew them or people like them. It reads like real-life rather than a novel. It is also fun to get to know Nebraska a little better. I would recommend it.
