Golden Eagle

This Golden Eagle was sitting on a fence post along US50. He flew away before I could come to a stop and get out my camera. Hopefully, I get another chance.

It seems to be calving time on the open range. We even watched one cow give birth and have found the pools of blood out on the range. The calves don't quite know how to behave around the road yet.

This Golden Eagle from the week before is eating the after birth from one of the calves. The Raven is waiting for his turn. (It was snowing pretty hard that morning.)
