Coyote

I took a walk in the snow and caught a glimpse of one of our several local coyotes. He was eating a raccoon, but took off when he saw me.
He stops to check and see if I am pursuing.
After following his tracks, I respied him in the woods at a much closer range. He did not seem to see me at first.
Shortly after this picture, he took off back in the direction we had come, probably to retrieve his half-eaten raccoon.
